Scholarly Lecture Presented by Prof.Ali Abu Suleiman at the Faculty of Dentistry

Throughout the visit of the scientific delegation from Al-Hawash Private University to Titu Maiorescu University, Romania, that took place from May 12 to May 18, 2024, and as part of the collaborative efforts between the two universities, the Erasmus+ program’s diverse agenda included an academic lecture at the Faculty of Dentistry at Titu Maiorescu University.
The lecture, titled “Advanced Techniques in the Management of Gummy Smiles,” was delivered by Prof. Ali Abu Suleiman, a respected faculty member of the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Hawash Private University. It encompassed a comprehensive analysis of gummy smiles, addressing the etiological factors contributing to this aesthetic condition and emphasizing the latest surgical interventions such as gingivectomy with osseous recontouring and lip repositioning surgery.
The lecture concluded with an overview of non-surgical techniques, such as the use of botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers.
