A delegation from the Homs branch of the Pharmacists Syndicate visits the Faculty of Pharmacy – Hawash Private University
Within the framework of strengthening cooperation between between the Faculty of Pharmacy at Hawash Private University and the Syndicate of Pharmacistsa delegation from the syndicate’s branch in Homs governorate visited the university. The delegation included Secretary of the branch, Dr. Yamen Salqini, and members of the branch council, Dr. Suad Al-Nakdali, Dr. Saada Hammoud, and Dr. Anton Jabour.
The meeting opened with a welcoming speech by Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mazen Salloum In the presence of Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs Dr. Yousef Waqaf During the meeting, the delegation discussed ways to enhance and develop cooperation in the scientific and professional fields in order to contribute to the advancement of the pharmacy profession and enhance its role in society. Dr. Farzat Ayoub University HospitalThe visit coincided with the launch of the Early detection campaign for breast and cervical cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. The tour started from the hospital’s pharmacy and passed through the rest of the departments to the Faculty of Cosmetology.
This visit embodies the commitment of the syndicate and the college to strengthen cooperation and develop the profession, which contributes to improving the health service provided to the community.
