Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia and Delegation Hosted by Al-Hawash Private University
On Saturday, June 8, 2024, Al-Hawash Private University hosted His Excellency Radovan Stojanovic, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Syria, accompanied by Honorary Consul Waleed Rafoul and their esteemed delegation. The visitors were received by the Board of Trustees, the University President, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of International Relations, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
The visit commenced with a meeting where the delegation viewed a comprehensive presentation detailing the university’s various departments, educational facilities, and ongoing projects. The primary objective of the visit was to pave the way for future scientific and cultural collaboration between the two institutions, including student exchange programs, the sharing expertise and resources, and an increase in scholarship opportunities provided by Serbian universities, which ultimately benefit both institutions.
The tour concluded with the presentation of Al-Hawash Private University’s memorial shield. The delegation then visited the university campus, Beit Al-Yasmeen Hotel and Spa, and Dr. Farzat Ayoub University Hospital, where they observed the state-of-the-art equipment and operational systems. Ambassador Stojanovic commended the university’s impressive academic and medical achievements, wishing it continued success.
